The Tampa Bay Lightning have just released newly hired General Manager Steve Yzerman, do to personal issues that the owners of the Tampa Bay Lightning said they "could not tolerate with." It didn't take them long to find a new manager that they had faith could lead their team to a cup. Newly hired Tampa Bay General Manager "Ponycorn" had this to say, "Well it's a huge honour to be named manager of the Tampa Bay Lighting, they have a lot of young talent along with some veterans that will be able to help the younglings handle the pressure, but there may be a lot of changes before the season starts so don't go out buying a new jersey yet. Also with a calm yet exciting coach in Guy Boucher we have nothing to worry about behind the bench."

The Tampa Bay Lighting GM "Ponycorn" has made his first of hopefully many moves of the offseason by sending Quebec Native Vincent Lecavalier to the Toronto Maple leafs in return for Center Tyler Bozak, and propect Keith Aullie, who along with Bozak, was unavaible to the media. But they were able to catch Ponycorns thoughts, "We're very excited to bring this talent into our line-up. A former GM screwed up with Lecavalier paying him so much and we free up 6 million in Cap-space here, and our team gets younger. We're Very excited."
